In the field of vehicle routing, Arc Routing has been relatively neglected compared to Node Routing. However in recent years, this area is attracting more interest and attention from researchers and practitioners who wish to find viable solutions to problems arising in practice, like garbage collection, road gritting, mail delivery, network maintenance, and snow plowing operations.

The first first workshop on Arc Routing (WARP 1) took place in Copenhagen in june of 2013. One of the conclusions of the meeting was create a website to gather researchers and practitioners with an interest in Arc Routing.

The objective of this website is to strengthen the international network and to share the latest research, problems, applications and ideas with the rest of the community.
